These are just three highlights from the 56 events we have worked on over the last two months; high teas, weddings, engagement parties, trade shows, photo shoots, and even mother’s day fun have kept us needing a coffee in one hand and a phone in the other. A big thank you to all of the wonderful local suppliers, services and venues we have styled up a storm with over the last couple of months, and of course to our clients who make it all possible.
Epic celebration of love over three jam-packed days
Recently we had the privilege of being involved with Lucinda and George’s three-day love extravaganza at Broke’s Starline Alpacas Farmstay Resort. Over three days guests were entertained and looked after like we have never seen before, including three wedding ceremonies, a bush dance, African drumming workshop and even a Champagne condiment station. Our warehouse got a fantastic winter workout too, plus there was an absolutely incredible KåtaLane tent, divine flowers from the botanically talented Little Wren Flowers, deliciously decadent food by Wollombi Catering, and every single glorious moment was captured by Little Black Bow Photography. It was a spectacular celebration and were stoked to help Lucinda and George take their mighty leap into the land of love.
An outdoor festival is the perfect way to heat up the night
Working alongside Newcastle’s EAO Entertainment we were also able to create a pretty special setup for Live on the Lawn at Newcastle University’s Bar on the Hill. Featuring festoon lights and bunting for days, our brief was ‘chilled yet electric’ and if the vibe on the night was anything to go by we nailed it. The headline act was Japanese Wallpaper and the way our setup was able to bring the outdoor space together to really shine a light on such a talent (plus loads of others who graced the stage) was a total pleasure.
Mayhem and Madness at one of our favourite local venues
Every time we are asked to style an event at The Lock-Up we jump at the chance. This unique Newcastle space has so much character and edgy-charm before we even start, meaning we are always blown away by the end result. While we are often involved in private events at The Lock-Up, one of the awesome things about this venue is their public arts program. The Mayhem and Madness Ball was held to raise funds for more spectacular community art exhibitions and we are super proud to have supported them at this awesome event.
Until next time,
